How do I invite my team to an event?

Open your event, go to the Team tab, and tap "Invite". You can generate invite codes for specific roles (photographer, DJ, couple, etc.) and share them via text or email.

How do I join an event as a team member?

Tap "Join a Team" on the home screen and enter the invite code provided by the event organizer. You'll be assigned the role associated with that code.

How does the Day-Of timeline work?

Once the planner transitions the event to "Day-Of" mode, all team members see a live timeline. Blocks can be marked complete, and if something runs late, the interactive SmartRipple recovery screen lets you manually trim blocks, cut non-essential items, or use AI-powered auto-distribution to get back on track.

What is SmartRipple Timeline Recovery?

SmartRipple is EventSync's proprietary recovery system. When a block overflows, you get an interactive screen where you can: trim blocks in 5- or 10-minute increments with undo support, cut entire non-essential blocks, or toggle an AI suggestion that auto-distributes the deficit across buffer, cuttable, and compressible blocks. A live deficit meter tracks your progress, and an adjusted timeline preview shows exactly how changes will look before you apply them. If you recover more time than needed, a cushion indicator confirms the extra buffer.

What are Buffer, Cuttable, and Compressible blocks?

Buffer blocks (like travel time) absorb overflow first and can be fully consumed. Cuttable blocks are short, non-essential items that can be removed entirely. Compressible blocks (like cocktail hour or open dancing) can be shortened up to 50%. Fixed blocks like the ceremony are never adjusted. This priority system ensures the most important moments stay protected.

Can the couple see everything?

The wedding planner controls what the couple can see through the "Couple Access" settings. Sections like budget, guest list, and checklist can be hidden, view-only, or editable.

Does EventSync work offline?

Yes. EventSync is built offline-first. All your data is stored locally on your device, so the app works fully without an internet connection. When you're back online, changes automatically sync across all team members' devices.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Go to your device's Settings > Subscriptions to manage or cancel.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Delete Account". This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. You can also email us to request deletion.
